#cryptocurrency #finance #blockchain Liquid Restaked Tokens (LRTs) are a type of tokenized asset in the [[Decentralized Finance (DeFi)]] ecosystem that represent a claim on staked tokens that have been "restaked" to provide additional utility. Essentially, you stake your tokens to receive liquid staking tokens (LSTs), and then you can stake those LSTs again to receive LRTs. This allows for increased yield and participation in multiple DeFi protocols simultaneously, while still maintaining liquidity and the ability to access your underlying assets. LRTs are a relatively new innovation that builds on the concept of liquid staking, offering further opportunities for users to maximize returns and participate in securing blockchain networks.
